According to the University of Wisconsin study, forgiveness suffered less from certain illnesses while less forgiving people suffered from several health problems. Withholding forgiveness can cause stress or tension that may lead to many physical symptoms such as high blood pressure, depression, and anxiety. It is important to note that holding onto forgiveness can cause several negative emotions and some problems with frustration and anger. Thus, more forgiveness may also be good for your health by lowering tension and stress.
