It’s a very proud moment for our country that India athlete, Tejaswin Shankar won the bronze medal in the men’s decathlon event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. After winning the bronze medal, India won 35 medals including 4 gold medals, 15 silver medals, and 16 bronze medals in the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Tejaswin Shankar was placed in the third position with the score of 7934 points in the men’s decathlon event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. Yuma Maruyama of Japan won the gold medal with the score of 8123 points and Chen Xinghua of China won the silver medal with the score of 8,012 points in the men’s decathlon event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Earlier, Tejaswin Shankar won the silver medal with a total score of 7666 in 10 grueling events at the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 in China.  He also won the bronze medal with the total score of 7976 points in the men’s decathlon at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.
