It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian athlete, Ancy Sojan Edappilly won the silver medal in the women’s 200m race final event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. After winning the medal, India won 34 medals including 4 gold medals, 15 silver medals, and 15 bronze medals at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Ancy Sojan Edappilly was placed in the second position with the best jump of 6.53m and won the silver medal in the women’s long jump event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. Shaili Singh of India was placed in the fourth with the jump of 6.42m in the women’s long jump at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Huang Yingying of China won the gold medal with the jump of 6.55m and Tan Mengyi of China won the bronze medal with the jump of 6.46m in the women’s long jump event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Earlier, Ancy Sojan Edappilly won the silver medal with the jump of 6.63m in the women’s long jump at the  Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 in China.
