Wikileaks is an international organization, which claims to be non-profit media organization, which publishes secret information and releases confidential documents from anonymous sources to news media. Julian Assange, an Australian editor in chief or director, who introduced or founded Wikileaks in the year 2006. Sunshine press started website in the year 2006 with it’s slogan “we open governments” and the website is Wikileaks.org.

Wikileaks has released a number of documents, which are related to several global news such as killings of Iraqi civilians, in the year 2007, Afghanistan war, Iraq war, and many more. It also started publishing 779 secret files relating to prisoners detained in Guantanamo Bay Deyention camp. Similarly, it released several secret documents of public interest.

The heart and soul of this organization is Julian Assange along with Sarah Harrison, Joseph Farrell, and Kristim Hrafnsson. Wikileaks claims that its goal is to bring important news and information to public. There is another aim of wikileaks is to ensure that journalist and informers are not prosecuted to send sensitive documents. The team of wikileaks consists of 5 individuals working full time and around 800 individuals working occasionally. Wikileaks died not any official headquarters.
