RIP Mulayam Singh Yadav Sir

It’s a very sad news that Former Defense Minister and Chief Minister of UP, Mulayam Singh Yadav died at an age of 82 years at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram. He was in poor health for several years and will be cremated at their native village Saifai in Uttar Pradesh. 

 Mulayam Singh Yadav was an Indian Politician and the creator of the Samajwadi Party in the year 1992. Earlier, he served as the Minister of Defense in the Dev Gowda ministry and has been three times chief minister in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He was also elected as MLA in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly for 8 times and also elected as Member of Parliament (MP) for 7 times. Mulayam Singh Yadav was also referred to as Netaji by party workers and leaders.

Mulayam Singh Yadav was born on November 22, 1939, in Saifai village in the district of Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. He was first elected as a Member of Parliament to the 11th Lok Sabha from the Manipur constituency. Later, he also worked as Indian Defense Minister in the Dev Gowda Ministry but that government fell in the year 1998 and declared for free elections. He was again elected as a Member of Parliament from the Sambhal parliamentary constituency. He did not support the Congress party in the formation of government at the center after the fall of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in April 1999.
