History – – Firstly, the conference was held in the year 1995 at the World Conference on several issues of women in Beijing discuss that discuss about the basic rights of girl children. The United Nations General Assembly approved the resolution on December 19, 2011, and declared that the International Day of the Girl Child is observed every year on October 11 globally Firstly, this international day was celebrated on October 11, 2012. Theme – The theme of International Day of the Girl Child in the year 2022 is “Our Time is Now – Our Rights, Our Future”. The main aim of this international day is to spread awareness about the gender inequality that are faced by girls across the world.
