India won the second one-day match by 7 wickets with South Africa

In the second one-day match, India won the match by 7 wickets with South Africa due to great performance in batting and bowling. After winning this match, India leveled the series by (1-1) in the three one-day matches series against South Africa.

Earlier, South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first and made a good score of 278/7 in 50 overs due to good batting by Aiden Markram 79 (89), Reeza Hendricks 74 (76), and David Miller 35* (34). Mohammad Siraj 3/38 (10), Shardul Thakur 1/36 (5), Kuldeep Yadav 1/49 (9), Sarfaraz Ahmed 1/54 (10), and Washington Sundar 1/60 (9) were good bowling from the Indian side. After this inning, South Africa set a target of 279 runs in 50 overs for India to win the second one-day match.

During chasing, India loses 3 wickets, reached the target of 279 runs in 45.5 overs, and won the match by 7 wickets with South Africa due to great batting by Shreyas Iyer 113* (111), Ishan Kishan 93 (84), and Sanju Samson 30* (36).  Wayne Parnell 1/44 (8), Imaad Fortuin 1/52 (9), and Kagiso Rabada 1/59 (10) were taking each one wicket from the South African side.

Shreyas Iyer (IND), 113* (111), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting.
