In the final match of the Asia Cup 2022, Sri Lanka won the match by 23 runs with Pakistan and won the Asia Cup 2022 due to great performance in batting and bowling in the whole tournament. After winning this final match, Sri Lanka won the 6^th Asia Cup title.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first thus Sri Lanka first batted and made a good score of 170/6 in 20 overs due to great batting by Bhanuka Rajapakse 71* (45), Wanindu Hasaranga 36 (21), and Dhananjaya de Silva 28 (21). Haris Rauf 3/29 (4), Iftikhar Ahmed 1/21 (3), Shadab Khan 1/28 (4), and Naseem Shah 1/40 (4) were good bowling from the Pakistan side. After this inning, Sri Lanka set a good target of 171 runs in 20 overs for Pakistan to win this final match.

During chasing, Pakistan was all out at only 147/10 in 20 overs and lose this match by 23 runs with Sri Lanka due to great bowling by Pramod Madushan 4/34 (4), Wanindu Hasaranga 3/27 (4), Chamika Karunaratne 2/33 (4), and Maheesh Theekshana 1/25 (4). Mohammad Rizwan 55 (49), Iftikhar Ahmed 32 (31), and Haris Rauf 13 (9) were good batting from the Pakistan side.

Bhanuka Rajapakse (SL), 71* (45), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting.

Wanindu Hasaranga (SL), was declared as the Player of the Tournament due to his great performance in bowling as well as batting in the whole tournament.
