Introduction – World First Aid Day is celebrated annually on the second Saturday of September so it falls on September 10 in the year 2022 to spread awareness about how first aid can save thousands of lives in daily incidents across the world. If first aid is available at the right time to people, then it saves a huge number of lives. The main purpose of this international day is to provide the first aid at the right time to save a large number of lives across the world.

History – World First Aid Day is created by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in the year 2000. After that, IFRC announced that World First Aid is celebrated every year on the second Saturday of September all around the world in the year 2000.
Theme – The theme of World First Aid Day in the year 2022 is “Lifelong First Aid” which concentrates on the medical aid that is available to the right individual at the right time.
Significance – The main aim of World First Aid Day is to spread awareness about the importance of the first aid as a form of humanitarian empowerment. This international day provides an opportunity to inform people about the significance of first aid that saves a huge number of lives during accidents or any other incidents.
