It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian Wrestler, Ravi Dahiya won the gold medal in Wrestling at the commonwealth games 2022 in Birmingham. He won the gold medal in the men’s 57kg freestyle at the ongoing commonwealth games 2022.

Ravi Dahiya won the gold medal by defeating Ebikewnimo Welson of Nigeria (10-0) in the final match at the commonwealth games 2022. He won the first gold medal in the first attempt at the commonwealth games. Ravi Dahiya had missed the commonwealth games in Gold Coast 2018 due to an injury.

Earlier, Ravi Dahiya won the silver medal in the men’s 57 kg freestyle at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. He also won the gold medal in the men’s 57kg wrestling at the Asian Championships 2022, Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia. He also won the gold medal in the men’s 57kg freestyle at the Asian Championships 2021, Almaty in Kazakhstan.
