Neeraj Chopra won a Historic Silver Medal at World Athletics Championships

Neeraj Chopra won a historic silver medal for India with a throw of 88.13m in the javelin throw at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon. He became the second individual to win a medal in the World Athletics Championships for India after long jumper Anju Bobby George. Neeraj also became the first male Indian to win a historic silver medal with a throw of 88.13m at the World Athletic Championships in Eugene.

Neeraj Chopra started with a foul throw in the first attempt and then registered 82.39m in the second attempt. He improved his performance with a throw of 86.37m in the third attempt. After that, he made his best throw of 88.13m in the fourth attempt and won a historic silver medal at the World Athletic Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Earlier Neeraj Chopra won the historic gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
