India won the match by 2 wickets with West Indies

In the second one-day match, India won the match by 2 wickets with West Indies due to explosive batting by Axar Patel 64* (35). After winning this match, India leads by (2-0) in the three one-day series matches against West Indies.

Earlier, West Indies won the toss and chose to bat first and made a huge score of 311/6 in 50 overs due to great batting by Shai Hope 115 (135), Nicholas Pooran 74 (77), Kyle Mayers 39 (23), and Sharmarh Brooks 35 (36). Shardul Thakur 3/54 (7), Axar Patel 1/40 (9), and Deepak Hooda 1/42 (9) were good bowling from the Indian side. After this inning, West Indies set a huge target of 312 runs in 50 overs for India to win this match.

During chasing, India loses 8 wickets, successfully chased the target of 312 runs in 49.4, and won the match by 2 wickets with West Indies due to great batting by Axar Patel 64* (35), Shreyas Iyer 63 (71), Sanju Samson 54 (51), Shubham Gill 43 (49), and Deepak Hooda 33 (36). Alzarri Joseph 2/46 (10), Kyle Mayers 2/48 (7.4), and Jayden Seales 1/40 (10) were good bowling from the West Indies side.

Axar Patel (IND), 1/40 (9) & 64* (35), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting and bowling.
