Introduction – Global Day of Parents is celebrated every year on June 1 to honor all parents across the world for their selfless commitment and lifelong sacrifice for their children. In other words, parents are the most precious gifts as an angel with unconditional love for their children. Parents are always helping their children whether it may be any financial or career problem. The main purpose of this global day is to highlight the sacrifice made by parents and appreciate their endless efforts for their children. Parents dedicated or spend their whole life to the needs and happiness of their children without asking for anything in return.

History – United Nations General Assembly passed the resolution 66/292 on September 17, 2012, to celebrate Global Parents Day on June 1 annually all around the world. The main aim of this global day is to honor the role of parents in a life of a child.

Theme – The theme of Global Day of Parents in the year 2022 is ‘’Appreciate All Parents Throughout the World’’ which marks all parents who spend their lives running behind their children.

Significance – The main goal of this global day is to thank parents all around the world for their selfless dedication towards their children and their several sacrifices to nurture the bond with their children. This day provides an opportunity for children to strengthen their bonds or show love to their parents by offering gifts, cooking favorite food, watching movies and spending the whole day with their parents.
