It’s a proud moment for our country that Indian javelin thrower, Devendra Jhaijharia won the silver medal for India at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. He wins a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw – F-46 final event with his best throw of 64.35m at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020.

Devendra started the javelin throw with two throws of just 60mm and the third throw of 64.35m that may increase the hope of a medal. He throws fowl in the third and fourth attempts and the final one is 61.25m in the men’s javelin throw in the Paralympic games.


In past, Jhajharia is the greatest player in the Paralympic games that won two gold medals for India in the year 2004 and 2016 Paralympic games. Earlier, Jhajharia lost his left hand when he touched accidentally an electric wire during climbing a tree at the age of 8 years.
