It’s a great news for our country that Indian Para-athlete, Sundar Singh Gurjar wins the bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. Sundar Singh wins the bronze medal with a best throw of 64.01m in the men’s javelin throw (F 46) event at the Paralympics games. In the javelin throw game, the F-46 classification is for athletes with arm deficiency, impaired muscle power in the Paralympics event.

In past, Sundar Singh has lost his left hand in the year 2015 when a metal sheet fell on him at a friend’s house. He also had won gold medals in the year 2017 and 2019 World Para Athletics Championships and won the silver medal in the Jakarta Para Asian Games 2018.

In this men’s javelin throw (F-46), Devendra Jhajharia wins the silver medal for India at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
