After winning the medal, India won 9 medals including 1 gold medal, 4 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Earlier, Jay Meena won the quarterfinal match 4-3 against Sherwin Nuguit of Philippines in the men’s soft tennis singles event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan and may assured a medal fir India.
