In our society, generally parents decide the career of their children. Normally they prefer the career of a doctor or an engineer.

Engineer

An engineer fetches well-paying jobs after four years of study at a decent college. An IIT engineer or an engineer with MBA even gets a package of crores in foreign companies. At present, there was continuous increase engineering colleges that increased engineer students and the value of enginners reduces and not gets a good job or jobless. Mostly engineers are unemployed or jobless in our country due to continuous increasing of engineering students and reduces jobs in engineering field.

Doctor

Regarding in medical study, a five years of basic medical study such as MBBS study from best medical colleges and become a doctor. After graduation, he has to do post graduate in specialization and other courses after post graduate so another five to six years of study. Demand of doctors service is ever increasing in our populated country, but it requires make reputation in the society of the doctor, which takes many years to build. Thus, medical life is very difficult profession. They work long hours in their own clinics as compared to an engineer. If the doctor get a job in the big hospital then it gains an experience and easily open an clinic in the local area that earn more money. The reputation of doctor is good in the society as compared with an engineer.

Now coming to the question that who is more successful – a doctor or an engineer. Doctors will always be in demand. Doctor can work lifetime and cannot be retired but engineer retired from their work at about 60 to 65 years old. Moreover, doctor can do social work in old age and gets more or gain respect in the society but an engineer cannot get respect in the society and retire after 60 years . An engineer become a successful after getting a job in multinational company in a very short time but gain less respect in the society while a doctor is considered a God for people.

After discussion, we found that doctor is more successful than engineer in the present scenario.
