After winning the gold medal, India won 14 medals including 3 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.

Dilip Gavit won the historic gold medal with a best time of 10.71 seconds in the men’s 100m T47 event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. Mohammad Basil of India clinched the silver medal with the best time of 10.83 seconds in the men’s 100m T47 category in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. Kevin Santos of England won the bronze medal with the best time of 10.85 seconds in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.

Earlier, Dilip Gavit won the gold medal in the men’s 400m T47 category in the Asia Para Games in the year 2022 in Hangzhou, China.
