Rishikanta Singh won the silver medal with a total lift of 264kg in the men’s 60kg weightlifting event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. After winning the silver medal, Rishikanta Singh won the second medal for India in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.

Rishikanta Singh scripted history to lift 121kg and set a new Commonwealth Games in snatch record in his third attempt and later lifted 143kg in the clean and jerk with a total of 264kg, placed in the second position, and won the historic silver medal in the men’s 60kg weightlifting event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.

Mohammad Aniq of Malaysia won the gold medal with a total lift of 273kg and Joshua Amunga of Keneya won the bronze medal with a total lift of 260kg in the men’s 60kg weightlifting event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.
