My First Memorable Ziarat in Karbala, Iraq

I went to the Ziarat of pilgrim places or shrines in Kazmain, Najaf, and Karbala, and it was my first ziarat in my lifetime in Karbala with my family members. Most Muslims, especially Shia, want to ziarat at Karbala in Iraq where Imam Hussain and family members Shaheed in the battle of Karbala. Thus, Muslims, especially Shia, go to ziarat to the grave (rauza) of Imam Hussain, Hazrat Abbas, Hazrat Ali Akbar, Hazrat Qasim, Hazrat Aoun, Hazrat Ali Asgar, and many more.

I also went to Ziarat in Karbala, Iraq, with my family members, including my mother, via Karwan-e-Noor group. Firstly, I went to Baghdad (the Capital of Iraq) via airplane through Muscat with our family members. After that, I travelled to Kazmain for Ziarat with our group and family members by bus.

Kazmain

Firstly, I went to Kazmain and stayed for one day. I arrived in Kazmain in the afternoon and had lunch at the hotel. After that, I went to haram in Kazmain for ziarat at night with our group and family members. I was very excited for ziarat in Kazmain, Iraq. I took memorable photos in haram during Ziarat with our family members. I stayed in Kazmain in a hotel for one day.

Ziarat Places between Kazmain and Najaf

  1. Syed Mohammad Shrine – I visited the rauza of Syed Mohammad while traveling between Kazmain and Najaf. After reaching, I visited and performed thevZiarat of Syed Mohammad Rauza with my family members. I performed special prayer (namaz) and ziarat to Syed Mohammad shrine.  I was very excited to reach Iraq for Ziarat.
  2. Samarra – I visited  Samarra during traveling to Najaf in Iraq. I went to haram in Samarra for ziarat via bus. Firstly, I visited haram in Najaf via local bus to haram and then performed Ziarat in haram. I performed prayer (namaz) in Sanarra and ziarat to rauza. After completing ziarat, I went on a local bus to my bus to visit Najaf in Iraq.
  3. Imam Naqi – I also went to the jail where Imam Naqi was imprisoned near Samarra in Iraq.

Najaf

Najaf is an important city of Iraq, which is about 160km from Baghdad. Najaf is also one of the pilgrimage cities of Muslims, especially Shia, because it is the burial place of Imam Ali. I was so excited to visit or the Ziarat Hazrat Ali shrine or rauza. I visited Najaf late at night and went to ziarat to Imam Ali shrine or rauza the next morning with my family members and group members.

I felt cool and relaxed in the Najaf haram with spiritual energy and tension-free. I lived in Najaf for 3 days, so I regularly visited the Imam Ali shrine in Najaf and performed prayer and Ziarat to Imam Ali. I also attended the majlis in Najaf Haram with my group and family members. I also visited the Kufa Mosque and performed the Aamaal or Prayer (Namaz) of 102 rakats. I performed all Aamaal (Namaz) for continuous 4 hours from midnight to morning. After performing namaz, I clicked memorable photos with my family members

On the same day, I visited Al-Sahlah Masjid with my group and family members in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq. I performed prayer (namaz) and the ziarat in this masjid. I also took memorable photos with my family members. I also visited Kumail Masjid in the evening and performed Zohar and Asar prayer (namaz), with my family members. I also visited Al-Hannana Mosque in Najaf and performed prayer (Namaz) and Ziarat on the same day. I took memorable photos in Kumail Masjid and Al-Hannana Masjid with my family members. The next morning, I visited the largest cemetery (kabrastan), Wadi Al-Salaam worldwide in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq.

Pilgrim Places in Najaf – There are several pilgrim places in the city of Najaf in Iraq, which are given below –

  1. Imam Ali Shrine – I visited and ziarat of Imam Ali shrine with my family in Najaf, Iraq. I also performed special prayer (namaz) and Ziarat at Imam Ali Shrine with my family members in Najaf, Iraq. I also attended majlis and matam at Imam Ali Shrine with my family members in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq.
  2. Kufa Mosque – I also visited Kufa Masjid and performed Aamaal or Prayer (Namaz) for 102 rakats. I performed Aamaal (Namaz) ifor 4 hours from midnight to morning. After Namaz, I clicked memorable photos with my family members.
  3. Maytham AlTammar Shrine – I also visited and the ziarat of Maytham or Meesam Al-Tammar Shrine, which is situated to the west of the Kufa Masjid. I also performed a special prayer (namaz) at Maytham Al-Tammar shrine in Kufa Masjid in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq.
  4. Al-Sahlah Mosque – I visited Al-Sahlah Mosque with my group and family members in Najaf, Iraq. I performed prayer (Namaz) and ziarat in this masjid with my family members. I also took memorable photos with my family members.
  5. Kumail Bin Ziad Mosque – I also visited Kumail Masjid in the evening and performed Zohar and Asar prayer (Namaz) and also ziarat. I also performed a special prayer (namaz) and ziarat of Makame Kumail Bin Ziad in this mosque in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq.
  6. AlHannana Mosque – I also visited Al-Hannana Mosque with my family members. I also performed a special prayer (namaz) in this masjid with my family members in Najaf, Iraq.
  7. Wadi Al-Salaam Cemetery – I visited the largest cemetery (kabrastan), Wadi Al-Salaam with my family members in the city of Najaf, Iraq. It is important to note that Wadi Al-Salaam is the biggest cemetery (kabrastan) all over the world and is situated in Najaf, Iraq. I also visited and the ziarat of the Prophet Salih and the Hud, with my family members. I also performed a special prayer (namaz) and ziarat of the Prophet Salih and Hud shrine with my family members in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq.

Ziarat Places in between the route of Najaf and Karbala

The next morning, I went to Karbala from Najaf by bus with my family members. I visited several ziarat places along the route of between Najaf and Karbala in Iraq, which are given below –

  1. Janabe Rushaid-al-Hajari Rauza– I visited Janabe Rushaid Al-Hajari Rauza while traveling between Najaf and Karbala. I performed two rakat prayer (namaz) of Rushaid-al-Hajari and the ziarat of Janabe Rushaid-al-Hajari shrine with my family members.
  2. Hazrat Zaid Rauza – I also visited Hazrat Zaid Rauza while traveling between Najaf and Karbala. I performed two rakat of prayer (namaz) of Ziarat Hazrat Zaid. After Ziarat, I took memorable photos of the rauza with my family members.
  3. Hazrat Ayub Rauza – I also visited the rauza of Hazrat Ayub during traveling between Najaf and Karbala. I also performed prayer (namaz) and ziarat Hazrat Ayub. After that, I took photos of Rauza with my family members.
  4. Makame Ibrahim – I also visited Makame Hazrat Ibrahim while traveling between Najaf and Karbala. I also performed prayer (namaz) and ziarat of Makame Ibrahim. After that, I took photos of Makame Ibrahim with my family members.
  5. Janabe Bikr ibne Ali– The construction of Janabe Bikr ibne Ali rauza is still under construction. Thus, I did not visit this rauza.
  6. Hazrat Sharifa ibne Imam Hasan Rauza– I also visited Hazrat Sharifa ibne Imam Hasan Rauza in Iraq. I performed two-rakats of prayer (namaz) for ziarat Hazrat Sharifa ibne Imam Hasan. After that, I took photos of this rauza with my family members.

I arrived in Karbala at 8 pm at the hotel for refreshment. At 10 pm, my group members plan to visit and the ziarat of rauza of Hazrat Abbas and Imam Hussain in Iraq. I performed prayer (namaz) and ziarat at midnight on the same day when I arrived in Karbala from Najaf.

There are several pilgrimage places in Karbala, Iraq which are given below-

  1. Hazrat Abbas Rauza – I visited and ziarat of Hazrat Abbas Rauza in Karbala, Iraq. I performed prayer (namaz) at the rauza of Hazrat Abbas in Karbala, Iraq. When I reached Hazrat Abbas Shrine, my eyes were full of tears. I also attend majlis in Hazrat Abbas Shrine.
  2. Imam Hussain Rauza– I visited and ziarat rauza of Hazrat Abbas and Imam Hussain. I performed Zohar and Asar prayer (namaz) with jamat in Karbala, Iraq. I performed prayer (namaz) and ziarat of Hazrat Abbas and Imam Hussain whole day. I also attended majlis at Imam Hussain Rauza.
  3. Nahar-e-Farat – I visited and ziarat Nahar-e-Farat with my family members. After ziarat, when I reached Nahar-e-Farat, I realized the pain of the Karbala war. I also attended majlis at Nahar-e-Farat in Karbala, Iraq.
  4. Tiftane-e-Muslim – I also visited the rauza of the two sons of Hazrat Muslim, Hazrat Muhammad and Hazrat Ibrahim rauza in Karbala, Iraq. I visited separately and performed the ziarat of Hazrat Aoun and Hazrat Mohammad.
  5. Hazrat Hurr Rauza– I also visited and performed the ziarat of rauza of Hazrat Hurr in Karbala, Iraq. I performed prayer (namaz) and ziarat of Hazrat Hurr Rauza in Karbala, Iraq.
  6. Hazrat Aoun Rauza– I also visited and ziarat of Hazrat Aoun rauza in Karbala, Iraq. I performed prayer (namaz).and ziarat of Hazrat Aoun with my family in Karbala, Iraq.
  7. Hazrat Ali Akbar Rauza– I visited and performed the ziarat of Hazrat Ali Akbar Rauza in Karbala, Iraq, with my family members. I also attended matam at the rauza of Hazrat Ali Akbar in Karbala, Iraq,with my family members.
  8. Hazrat Ali Asghar Rauza – I also visited Hazrat Ali Asghar Rauza in Karbala, Iraq, with my family members. I also attended matam at the rauza of Hazrat Ali Asghar in Karbala, Iraq.
