Why is it important to sleep at night?

It is generally practiced in daily life that most of the work is done in daytime and take rest while sleeping at night. An individual whose work schedule is in the day should have good sleep at night to maintain body metabolism. It is important to maintain natural sleep and wake up cycle for good health.

During the day, we our brain is stressed constantly and we also get physically tired. So relaxation of our body and brain is very important to gain energy and refreshment for next day. So it is necessary to sleep at night which results in increased energy and improved heart and immune system. Night sleep is a basic biological necessity just like eating and daily activities. It has a positive impact on every aspect of our health and life. If we do not get good sleep at nigh then we will feel tired, which affects work performance on the next day. Seven hours of sleep at night is healthier for a long life.

As aspect in medically, poor sleep at night habits may increase the body’s energy needs. At night, need of calories is reduced. When we are sleep deprived, brain will release chemicals foe signal of hunger and this will lead to eat more and resulting weight gain. Researchers have found that those who slept less than six hours at night are likely to experience premature death. When we sleep at night, our immune releases compound called Cytokines. Some cytokines have protective effect on our immune system to help in fighting infections.

In this discussion, we can found that the person works hard in the day and get very physically and mentally tired. If people did not sleep at night, then they feels tires and affect the daily activities so it is important to sleep at night for 7 to 8 hours for our good health and gain energy for the next day.
