Introduction – Shefali Jariwala was an Indian model and actress, primarily known for her outstanding performances in several music videos. She gained popularity in the remix music video album ‘’Kaanta Laga’’ which was released in the year 2002. Due to the popularity of Kaanta Laga’s song, she earned her popular nickname Kaanta Laga Girl. Shefali also appeared in the role of Bijli in a supporting role with two popular Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra in the popular movie ‘’Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’’ which was released in the year 2004.

Later, she also appeared in the popular dance competition ‘’Boogie Woogie’’ in the year 2008, which was telecasted on Sony Entertainment Channel. After that, she also participated or appeared in the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 in the year 2012 -2013 and also again appeared in Nach Baliye 7 with Parag Tyagi in the year 2015-2016. She was appeared in the popular reality show, Big Boss season 13 by entering as a wild card contestant in the year 2019. Shefali also worked as a lead actress role with Shreyas Talpade in ALT Balaji’s Baby Come Naa which was released in the year 2018.

Personal Life – As per sources, Shefali Jariwala suffered from epilepsy in her childhood days and had her first seizure at the age of 15 years old so she underwent treatment for 10 years. She was born on December 15 in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat and received a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Sardar Patel College of Engineering in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra. The father of Shefali Jariwala was a chartered accountant and her mother worked in the State Bank of India. Shefali Jariwala was also conscious of her health and did yoga for fitness and good health.

 In the past, Shefali Jariwala married musician Harmeet Singh in the year 2004 and divorced in the year 2009. After that, Shefali Jariwala married Indian actor Parag Tyagi in the year 2014. In education, Shefali Jariwala was a graduate with a degree in Computer Application and received a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Sardar Patel Engineering of College in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Shefali Jariwala also appeared in the Kannada Movie Hudagaru, which was released in the year 2011. She also participated in the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 in the year 2012 -2013 and also again appeared in Nach Baliye 7 with Parag Tyagi in the year 2015-2016. Shefali Jariwala also participated in the popular reality show, Big Boss season 13 by entering as a wild card contestant in the year 2019.

Death – Shefali Jariwala died at the age of only 42 due to cardiac arrest on June 27, 2025, at her home in Oshiwara, in the city of Mumbai. As per sources, she took medicine regularly with an anti-aging injection for many years under medical supervision. The last rite of Shefali Jariwala was performed on the next day of death i.e. June 28, 2025, in the Oshiwara crematorium in the city of Mumbai.
