World Malaria Day is celebrated every year on April 25 across the world to spread awareness about the causes and negative effects of malaria. This international day highlights the effort to end or cure malaria and to educate individuals about the causes and prevention of malaria. The main purpose of this international day is to spread awareness about the life-threatening disease Malaria and efforts to eliminate the disease worldwide. The theme of World Malaria Day in the year 2025 is Malaria Ends With Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite, which talk about worldwide or collective action and dedication or commitment to eliminate malaria for a better world.
Earlier, the theme for this international day is ‘’Accelerate the fight against malaria for a more equitable world’’ which talks about preventing malaria quickly for a better world.

Malaria is a life-threatening disease that is caused by Plasmodium parasites which are transmitted to people through the bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. This disease is curable and preventable but malaria is still common in subtropical and tropical countries. Malaria is very common in tropical areas where the weather is hot and humid. It may occur across the world but especially in those countries with high humidity and warm temperature

Malaria starts with chills, shivering, and a high fever with sweating that back to normal temperature. You can prevent or reduce the risk of malaria by applying insect repellent to your skin, covering your skin, sleeping under a net, preventing stored water that is responsible for producing a large number of mosquitoes, and many more. Proper sanitation and hygiene may prevent or lower the risk of getting infected with malaria which makes a malaria-free world.
Why would anyone celebrate Malaria unless there was a competition to find out how to kill as many mozzies as possible in 24 hours?
