Earlier, West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl first thus Scotland first batted and made a good score of 160/5 in 20 overs due to good batting by George Munsey 66* (53), Calum MacLeod 23 (14), and Michael Jones 20 (17). Jason Holder Holder 2/14 (3), Alzarri Joseph 2/28 (4), and Odean Smith 1/31 (4) were good bowling from the West Indian side. After this inning, Scotland set a good target of 161 runs in 20 overs for West Indies to win this match.

During chasing, West Indies was all out at only 118/10 in 18.3 overs and lose this match by 42 runs with Scotland due to great bowling by Mark Watt 3/12 (4), Michael Leask 2/15 (4), Brad Wheal 2/32 (4), Safyaan Sharif 1/23 (3.3), and Josh Davey 1/34 (3). Jason Holder 30 (33), Kyle Mayers 20 (13), and Brandon King 17 (15) were good batting from the West Indies side.
