India won the match by 101 runs with Afghanistan

In the fifth match of Super 4, India won the match by 101 runs with Afghanistan due to great performance in batting and bowling. In this match, Virat Kohli 122* (61) made a great century and the best bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar 5/4 (4) took 5 wickets in 4 runs.

Earlier, Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bowl first thus India first batted and made a huge score of 212/2 in 20 overs due to great batting by Virat Kohli 122* (61), K.L. Rahul 62 (41), and Rishabh Pant 20* (16). Only Fareed Ahmed 2/57 (4) took two wickets from the Afghanistan side. After this inning, India set a huge target of 213 runs in 20 overs for Afghanistan to win this match.

During chasing, Afghanistan scored 111/8 in 20 overs and lose this match by 101 runs with India due to great bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar 5/4 (4), Deepak Hooda 1/3 (1), Arshdeep Singh 1/7 (2), and Ravichandran Ashwin 1/27 (4). Ibrahim Zardan 64* (59), Mujeeb Ur Rahman 18 (13), and Rashid Khan 15 (19) were good bowling from the Afghanistan side.

Virat Kohli (IND), 122* (61), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting.
