After this inning, India set a target of 174 runs in 20 overs for Sri Lanka to win this match.
During chasing, Sri Lanka loses 4 wickets, reached the target of 174 runs in 19.5 overs, and won the match by 6 wickets with India due to great batting by Kusal Mendis 57 (37), Pathum Nissanka 52 (37), Dasun Shanaka 33* (18), and Bhanuka Rajpaksa 25 (17). Yuzvendra Chahal 3/34 (4), and Ravichandran Ashwin 1/32 (4) were good bowling from the India side.
Dasun Shanaka 2/26 (2) & 33* (18), was declared as the Player of the Match due to good performance in bowling and batting.
