After this inning, Bangladesh set a huge target of 184 runs in 20 overs for Sri Lanka to win this match.

During chasing, Sri Lanka loses 8 wickets, reached the target of 184 runs in 19.2 overs, and won the match by 2 wickets with Bangladesh due to great batting by Kusal Mendis 60 (37), Dasun Shanaka 45 (33), and Pathum Nissanka 20 (19). Ebadot Hossain 3/51 (4), Taskin Ahmed 2/24 (4), Mahedi Hasan 1/30 (2,2), and Mustafizur Rahman 1/32 (4) were good bowling from the Bangladesh side.

Kusal Mendis (SL), 60 (37), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting.
