History – Australian artist, photographer, and author, Richard Simpkin established World Letter Writing Day for tributing to the excitement and joy that he felt when a hand-written letter would reach the mailbox. Richard Simpkin started writing to everyone and he was considered to be an Australian Legend and also receives their replies. The great experience of Richard in writing a letter to individuals that made it possible for him to publish the book namely ‘’Australian Legends’’ He paid a tribute to the art of writing letters in his book.
