In the fourth match of the Asia Cup 2022, India won the match by 40 runs with Hong Kong due to great performance in batting. After winning this match, India reached the Super 4 by winning two consecutive matches against Pakistan and Hong Kong. Previously, India won the first match by 5 with Pakistan.

Earlier, Hong Kong won the toss and chose to bowl first thus India first batted and made a huge score of 192/2 in 20 overs due to great batting by Suryakumar Yadav 68* (26), Virat Kohli 59* (44), and K.L. Rahul 36 (39). Both Mohammad Ghazanfar 1/19 (2), and Ayush Shukla 1/29 (4) were good bowling from the Hong Kong side. After this inning, India set a huge target of 193 runs in 20 overs for Hong Kong to win this match.

During chasing, Hong Kong scored 152/5 in 20 overs and lose the match by 40 runs with India due to good bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar 1/15 (3), Ravindra Jadeja 1/15 (4), Arshdeep Singh 1/44 (4), and Avesh Khan 1/53 (4). Babar Hayat 41 (35), Kinchit Shah 30 (28), and Zeeshan Ali 26* (17) were good bowling from the Hong Kong side.

Suryakumar Yadav (IND), 68* (26), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting.
