RIP Sonali Phogat Mam

It’s a very unbelievable, heartbreaking, shocking, and very sad news that Tik Tok Star and BJP Leader Sonali Phogat died in Goa at an age of 42 years on August 23.  She was also an actress and politician.

Personal Information – Sonali Phogat was born on September 21, 1979, in Bhuthan Kalan Village, Fatehabad in the state of Haryana. She was growing up in Hisar, Haryana, and belonged to a Jaat family. The father of Sonali Phogat was a farmer. She had three sisters and one brother. Sonali was married to Sanjay Phogat but her husband was found dead in mysterious conditions at his farmhouse in Hisar in the year 2016. She is survived by her daughter that was named Yashodhara Phogat. Sonali was also active on several social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. She was also very active on Tik Tok before banned in India with huge followers of fans are following her account.

Film & TV Career – Sonali Phogat appeared as an anchor in a Haryanvi show on Doordarshan and made her television debut in the year 2006. She also worked in the web series ‘’The Story of Badmashgarh’’ in the year 2019. Sonali also appeared in the music video of the Haryanvi song ‘’Bandook Aali Jaatni’’ in the year 2019. She also worked in the role of the wife of Nawab Shah in the TV serial ‘’Amma Ek Maa Jo Lakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma’’ in the year 2020. She gained popularity in the famous reality show ‘’Big Boss 14’’ and was entered as a wild card contestant in the year 2020.

Political Career – Sonali Phogat started her political career with the Bhartiya Janata Party, a political party in the year 2008. Later, she was made the National Vice President of BJP Mahila Morcha. She was also contested in the Haryana Assembly Elections from the Adampur Constituency in the year 2019. But she lost the elections by 29,471 votes to Kuldeep Bishnoi, a Congress leader. Sonali also worked in the tribal areas of Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand for the BJP. After that, she was made in charge of BJP’s scheduled Tribe wing in New Delhi, Chandigarh, and Haryana.
