It’s a very great news for our country that Indian judoka Vijay Kumar Yadav won the 8^th medal for India in the commonwealth games 2022 in Birmingham. He won a bronze medal in men’s 60kg judo by defeating Petros Christodoulides of Cyprus in only 58 seconds in the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Previously, Vijay Kumar enters the bronze medal match by defeating Dylon Munro of Scotland. After winning this medal, India ranks 6^th position in the Commonwealth medals tally.
