It’s a great news for our country that Indian Judoka Shushila Devi won the 7th medal for India in the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham. She won the silver medal in the women’s 48kg by losing the final match against South Africa’s Michaela Whitebooi in the ongoing commonwealth games.
Previously, Shushila Devi had assured the silver medal for our country by winning the semi-final match with Priscilla Morand of Mauritius. She reached the quarterfinal by winning with Harriet Bonface of Malawi.
