Jeremy Lalrinnunga won the second gold medal for India in the Commonwealth Games 2022

It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian weightlifter, Jeremy Lalrinnunga won the fifth medal for India in the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham. He won a second gold medal with a great performance in the men’s 67kg weightlifting event with a total lift of 300kg (140kg + 160kg)

Earlier, Jeremy won the gold medal in the men’s 67kg at the Commonwealth Championships 2021 in Tashkent. He also won the gold medal in the boy’s 62 kg with a total lift of 274kg (124+ 150) kg at the Youth Olympic Games 2018 in Buenos Aires. After winning the second gold medal,  India ranks 6th position in the Commonwealth Games 2022 Medals Tally.
