RCB won the eliminator playoff match by 14 runs with LSG

In the eliminator playoff or 72nd match of IPL 2022, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the match by 14 runs with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) due to a great century by Rajat Patidar 112* (54). After winning this match, RCB will play the next match with Rajasthan Royals (RR) to reach IPL final 2002. LSG was out of the IPL 2022 tournament after losing this match.

Earlier LSG won the toss and chose to bowl first thus RCB first batted and made a huge score of 207/4 in 20 overs due to great batted by Rajat Patidar 112* (54), Dinesh Karthik 37* (23), and Virat Kohli 25 (24). Mohsin Khan 1/25 (4), Krunal Pandya 1/39 (4), and Avesh Khan 1/44 (4) were good bowling from the LSG side. After this inning, RCB set a huge target of 208 runs in 20 overs for LSG to win this match.

During chasing, LSG scored 193/6 in 20 overs and lose this match by 14 runs with RCB due to great bowled by Josh Hazlewood 3/43 (4), Harshal Patel 1/25 (4), and Mohammad Siraj 1/41 (4). K.L. Rahul 79 (58), Deepak Hooda 45 (26), and Manan Vohra 19 (11) were good batting from the LSG side.

Rajat Patidar (RCB), 112* (54), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting.
