In the first playoffs or 71^st match of IPL 2022, Gujrat Titans (GT) won the match by 7 wickets with Rajasthan Royals (RR) due to a great batted by David Miller 68* (38).  After winning this match, GT reached the IPL 2022 final. RR will play a match with that team who won the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) today after losing the match with GT.

Earlier GT won the toss and chose to bowl first thus RR first batted and made a good score of 188/6 in 20 overs due to great batted by Jos Butler 89 (56), Sanju Samson 47 (26), and Devdutt Padikkal 28 (20). Mohammad Shami 1/43 (4), Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore 1/43 (4), and Hardik Pandya 1/14 (2) were good bowling from the GT side. After this inning, RR set a target of 189 runs in 20 overs for GT to win this match.

During chasing, GT loses 3 wickets and won the match by 7 wickets with RR due to great batted by David Miller 68* (38), Hardik Pandya 40* (27), and Shubham Gill 35 (21).  In the last Prasidh Krishna’s over, GT required 16 runs in 6 balls and David Miller hit 3 consecutive sixes and won the match in 19,3 overs by 7 wickets with RR. Both Trent Boult 1/38 (4) and Obed McCoy 1/40 (4) were batting from the RR side.

David Miller (GT) 68* (38), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting.
