During chasing, India loses 4 wickets, reached the target in 178/4 (28), and won the match by 6 wickets due to good batted by Rohit Sharma 60 (51), Surya Kumar Yadav 34* (36), and Ishan Kishan 28 (36). Alzarri Joseph 2/45 (7), and Akeal Hosein 1/46 (9) were good bowling from the West Indies side.

Due to his great performance in bowling, Yuzvendra Chahal (IND), 4/49 (9.5), was declared as the Player of the Match.
