Earlier Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first and made a good score of 153/10 (20) due to good batted by Mohammad Naim 64 (50) and Shakib Al Hasan 42 (29). Bilal Khan 3/18 (4), Fayyaz Butt 3/30 (4), and Kaleemullah 2/30 (4) were good bowled from the Oman side.

During chasing, Oman lost 9 wickets and was defeated by Bangladesh with 26 runs due to great bowled by Mustafizur Rahman 4/36 (4), Shakib Al Hasan 3/28 (4), and Mahedi Hasan 1/14 (4).
