In the second qualifier or 59th match of IPL 2021, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the match by 3 wickets with Delhi Capitals (DC) due to good performance in bowling and batting.

Earlier KKR won the toss and chose to bowl first thus DC first batted and made a low score of 135/5 (20) due to great bowled by Varun Chakravarthy 2/26 (4), Lockie Ferguson 1/26 (4), and Shivam Mavi 1/27 (4). Shikhar Dhawan 36 (39), Shreyas Iyer 30* (27), and Prithvi Shaw 18 (12) were good batted from the DC side. DC set a target of 136 in 20 overs for KKR to win this match.

During chasing, KKR starts with a good opener partnership of 96 in 12.2 overs between the Venkatesh Iyer 55 (41) and Shubham Gill 46 (46). But KKR loses 6 wickets in 7 runs in the last five overs, this match is very tensed. In the last over, KKR should make 7 runs in 6 balls and Ashwin took wickets in two consecutive balls.

Now, 6 runs in 2 balls, Rahul Tripathi smashed the six and KKR won the match by 3 wickets and reached the IPL final 2021. After winning this match, KKR will play with CSK in the IPL final 2021.
