In the eliminator or 58th match of IPL 2021, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the match by 4 wickets with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) due to good performance in bowling.

Earlier, RCB won the toss and chose to bat first and start with a good opening partnership of 49 (5.1) between Viral Kohli 39 (33), and Devdutt Padikkal 21 (18). Due to early several wickets, RCB made a low score of 138/7 due to great bowled by Sunil Narine 4/21 (4), and Lockie Ferguson 2/30 (4). RCB set the target of 139 (20) for KKR to win this match.

During chasing, KKR chased the target in 19.4 overs and won the match by 4 wickets with RCB due to good batted by Shubham Gill 29 (18), Sunil Narine 26 (15), and Venkatesh Iyer 26 (30). Yuzvendra Chahal 2/16 (4), Mohammad Siraj 2/19 (4), and Harshal Patel 2/19 (4) were good bowled from the RCB side. After winning this match, KKR will play with DC to reach the IPL 2021 final match on October 13, 2021.
