In the 55th match of IPL 2021, Mumbai Indians (MI) won the match by 42 runs with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) due to great performance in batting.
Earlier MI won the toss and chose to bat first and made a huge score of 235/9 (20) due to great batted by Ishan Kishan 84 (32), and Surya Kumar Yadav 82 (40). Jason Holder 4/52 (4), Abhishek Sharma 2/4 (1), and Rashid Khan 2/40 (4) were good bowled from the SRH side.
During chasing the huge score, SRH lose this match by 42 runs with MI due to good bowled by James Neesham 2/28 (3), Jasprit Bumrah 2/39 (4), and Nathan Coulter-Nile 2/40 (4). Manish Pandey 69* (41), Jason Roy 34 (21), and Abhishek Sharma 33 (16) were good batted from the SRH side. MI beat SRH by 42 runs but did not qualify for Playoffs.
Due to his great performance in batting, Ishan Kishan (MI) 84 (32), was declared as the Player of the Match.
