Earlier SRH won the toss and chose to bat first and made a low score of 115/8 (20) due to great bowled by Varun Chakravarthy 2/26 (4), Tim Southee 2/26 (4), and Shivam Mavi 2/29 (4). Kane Williamson 26 (21), and Abdul Samad 25 (18) good batted from the SRH side.
During chasing, KKR loses 4 wickets and won the match easily by 6 wickets with SRH due to good batted by Shubham Gill 57 (51), Nitish Rana 25 (33), and Dinesh Karthik 18* (12). After winning this match, KKR placed at the 4th position in the IPL 2021 points table with 12 points.
