But due to a hat trick by Harshal Patel MI lose this match by 54 runs with RCB. Harshal Patel 4/17 (3.1), Yuzvendra Chahal 3/11 (4), and Glenn Maxwell 2/23 (4) well bowled from the RCB side. During the hat trick, Harshal Patel dismissed Hardik Pandya 3 (6), Kieron Pollard 7 (10) a dangerous player, and Rahul Chahar 0 (1). After winning this match, RCB placed at the third position in the IPL 2021 points table with 12 points.
Due to his great performance in batting and bowling, Glenn Maxwell 56 (37) & 2/23 (4), was declared as the Player of the Match.
