In the 35th match of the IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won the match by 6 wickets with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) due to good performance in batting and bowling.

When the score of RCB is 111/0 in 13 overs, then it seemed that RCB would make more than 200 runs in this match. But due to great bowled by Dwayne Bravo 3/24 (4), and Shardul Thakur 2/29 (4), RCB only scored 156/6 in 20 overs. RCB set the target of 157 runs in 20 overs against CSK in this match.

During chasing the target, CSK loses 4 wickets and won this match easily by 6 wickets with RCB due to good batted by Ruturaj Gaikwad 38 (26), Ambati Rayudu 32 (22), and Faf du Plessis 31 (26). Only Harshal Patel 2/25 (4) good bowled from the RCB side. After winning this match, CSK placed at the top position in the IPL 2021 points table.
