Introduction – World Pharmacist Day is celebrated on September 25 every year all over the world to recognize the important role of a pharmacist. The main purpose of this day is to promote the role of the pharmacist in improving health all around the world.

History – The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) was founded on September 25, 1912 thus, World Pharmacist Day is observed on September 25 annually worldwide. International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is an international group of national associations of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists globally. The FIP Council in Istanbul, Turkey has proposed to encourage the pharmacy sector annually so this day should be celebrated every September 25 globally. This day also marks the anniversary of the establishment of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). This day aims to encourage the important role of pharmacists to promote health.

Theme – The theme of World Pharmacist Day in the year 2021 is ‘’Pharmacy: Always trusted for Your Health’’.  This day aims is to attract attention for the importance of pharmacies and FIP urges to all their members for participating in the event to be a success.
