DC won by 8 wickets with SRH

Delhi Capitals won the match by 8 wickets with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 33rd match of the IPL 2021 due to great performance in bowling and batting.

Earlier SRH won the toss and chose to bat first and scored 134/9 (20) due to great bowled by Kagiso Rabada 3/37 (4), Anrich Nortje 2/12 (4), and Axar Patel 2/21 (4). Abdul Samad 28 (21), and Rashid Khan 22 (19) good batted from the SRH side.

During chasing, DC lost only two wickets, chased the target in only 17.5 overs, and won this match by 8 wickets due to great batted by Shreyas Iyer 47 (41) not out, Shikhar Dhawan 42 (37), and Rishabh Pant 35 (21) not out. Only Rashid Khan 1/26 (4) and Khaleel Ahmed 1/33 (4) took wickets from the SRH side. After winning this match, DC placed at the top position in the IPL 2021 points table with 14 points.

Anrich Nortje 2/12 (4) DC, was declared as the Player of the Match due to great performance in bowling in this match.

  2. Well played DC! And special mention to Shreyas Iyer for his wonderful innings. It’s not easy to come directly after a career-threatening injury and play such wonderful innings against a strong bowling unit.
