Harvinder Singh wins a Bronze Medal in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020

It’s a great news for our country that Harvinder Singh wins a first-ever medal in archery for India at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. He wins a bronze medal in the men’s singles recurve archery in the Paralympics Games in Tokyo.

Harvinder Singh becomes the first Indian archer who won the first medal in archery at the Paralympic Games that is a great achievement. After winning a bronze medal by Harvinder Singh, the total number of medals is 13 including 2 gold, 6 silver, and 5 bronze medals for India in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. He was the first Indian athlete to win a gold medal in a major para competition at the Asian Games in the year 2018.

Harvinder Singh belongs to a middle-class family and suffered from dengue at an age of one-and-half years. After that, the local doctor directed him to an injection, which harmed his legs and stopped working properly.
