It’s a great news for our country that Sharad Kumar wins the bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. Sharad wins a bronze medal in the men’s high jump T 42 category in the Paralympic Games held in Tokyo.
He wins a bronze medal in the men’s high jump with an effort of 1.83m in the Tokyo Paralympic Games. In this event, India has 10 medals including 2 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze medals. It’s a great achievement for our country at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
Previously, Sharad won the gold medal in the high jump (T42) with an effort of 1.80m and broke a 12-year record in the Asian Para Games 2014. He also participated and gained 6th position with a jump of 1.77m at the Rio Paralympics 2016. He was also won the silver medal with a jump of 1.84m at the World Para Athletics Championships 2017.
