Two Bomb Blasts in Kabul Airport, More than 85 people dead including American Soldiers

After the Taliban occupied Kabul, there were thousands of people including foreigners at Kabul Airport to leave Afghanistan. They want to leave Afghanistan due to the fear or threat of the Taliban. On August 26, 2021, there were two serial bomb blasts at Kabul Airport, and more than 85 people were dead including 13 American soldiers as per sources. The whole world fears about their citizens after these blasts.

As per news agency Reuters reported, there were two suicide attacks in Kabul Airport on August 26, 2021. According to the Taliban Official, 13 people were dead including children and several Taliban guards wounded. But as per the media report, at least 85 people were dead in the serial blasts in Kabul Airport.

According to sources with U.S. officials, they strongly believe that Afghan associate Islamic State Khorasan was responsible for these serial blasts at Kabul Airport. As per John Kirby, Pentagon spokesperson, the first bomb blast occurred, which is close to the airport’s Abbey Gate, and the second blast near to the Baron Hotel. As per sources with a text message quoted that there are two separate blasts simultaneously, the first blast is suicide bombing near Abbey Gate followed by small arms fire.

After that, the second bomb blast occurred at Baron gate close to Baron Hotel. As per sources, children were also killed in these serial blasts at Kabul Airport. American President, Biden was in an emergency meeting with security officials after serial blasts at Kabul Airport.
