Ravi Dahiya confirms at least silver medal in Men’s 57kg Freestyle Wrestling in the Tokyo Olympics 2020

It’s very good news for our country that Indian Wrestler, Ravi Kumar Dahiya win the match over Nurislam Sanayev of Kazakhstan and confirms at least a silver medal in Men’s 57kg freestyle category for India.

Firstly, he defeated a Colombian wrestler 13-2 and then secondly won the match with a Bulgarian wrestler by 14-4. Now Ravi advances to the final and assured a silver medal for India in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. In past, Sushil Kumar has won a silver medal for India at the Olympics.

Ravi Dahiya also become the 5th Indian wrestler after KD Jadhav in 1952, Yogeshwar Dutt in 2012, Sushil Kumar in 2008 & 2012 and, Sakshi Malik in 2016 for securing an Olympic medal for India. Ravi is the first Indian main athlete for securing a medal for India in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
