Lovlina Borgohain won the bronze medal for India in the Tokyo Olympics 2020

Indian boxer, Lovlina Borgohain won the bronze medal in her debut Tokyo Olympic 2020 after a comprehensive 0-5 loss with a world champion Busenaz Surmaneli on August 4, 2021. Our country is proud of Lovlina to win a bronze medal in women’s welterweight for India.

In the Tokyo Olympics 2020, Lovlina became the second female boxer after Mary Kom to finalize the medal for India. It’s a very proud moment for our country that Lovlina Borgohain won the bronze medal for India in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Lovlina was born on October 2, 1997, in the Golaghat district of Assam and encouragement from her elder twin sisters Lima and Licha. Both elder twin sisters of Lovlina pursued kickboxing at the national level.
